NPREREQUISITES
To knit this vest, you need to know how to knit and purl, knit in the round, knit flat, cast on stitches using any method, make increases by knitting front and back, make yarn over increases for armholes, make decreases, pick up and resume stitches, and bind off with i-cord. It is essential to be able to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the rib and slipped stitch patterns throughout the vest are given only in chart form.
CONSTRUCTION
This vest has a top-down construction, meaning it starts by knitting flat from the neckline, closing the neck in the round, and continuing until the shoulder increases are finished. Then the front and back are knitted separately to create the armhole openings (you can knit them at the same time), and the front and back are rejoined once the desired armhole height is reached to continue knitting the body in the round. Next, the armholes and neckline are picked up and finished with i-cord. It is made in one piece, without any seams.

Included in this kit. You should knit with one strand of alpaca and two strands of mohair held together (3 strands in total)
NEEDLES
