PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
To knit this cowl, you need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, make increases and decreases, and bind off stitches. You also need to know how to knit German short rows.
CONSTRUCTION
This cowl is knitted from side to side, starting at one end with a strip of 7 stitches, increasing towards the bottom center, and then decreasing back to 7 stitches. The second strip is then knitted and the 7 stitches are bound off.

Height: 14 cm [5.5”].
Width: 75 cm [39.5”].
GAUGE
28 stitches and 54 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] swatch in garter stitch, unblocked.
YARN

NEEDLES
3 mm [US 2.5] circular needles with an 80 cm [32"] cable or the size needed to achieve gauge (unblocked).
