- ABOUT THE GARMENT
To knit this sweater, you need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl stitches, hold stitches, pick up and resume stitches, make increases by knitting into the front and back of the same stitch, make decreases, the cable stitch technique, and bind off stitches. It is essential to be able to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the cable motifs are given only in chart form.
CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is knitted in one piece, starting with the neck and shoulders, from which stitches will then be picked up to continue with the rest of the body. The body is knitted flat on both the front and back until below the armholes, where the front and back are joined to continue knitting in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round.

One size.
Finished garment circumference: 128 cm [50.5”].
Garment height from neckline: 54 cm [21.25”].
Sleeve length from neckline: 72 cm [28.25”].
NEEDLES
4.5 mm [US 7] circular needles with 80 cm [32”] cables for the body and 20 cm [8”] or shorties for the sleeves, or the size needed to achieve the correct gauge.
