PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
To knit this shawl, you need to know how to do an i-cord cast-on, knit, purl, and the lace knitting technique, as well as how to make increases and decreases. It is also necessary to be able to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the body of the shawl with lace patterns are only given in chart form.
CONSTRUCTION
This shawl is knitted from top to bottom, starting with an i-cord cast-on, from which stitches are picked up and the entire body of the shawl is knitted. Then, the stitches of the body are bound off, and the two i-cords for the ends are made.

21 stitches and 30 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] swatch in stockinette stitch, unblocked.
YARN

3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles with an 80 cm [32"] cable or the size needed to achieve the correct gauge (unblocked).

USE AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
