PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE

To knit this top, you need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl, hold stitches, pick up and re-knit stitches, make increases, make decreases, the lace knitting technique, and bind off stitches. It is essential to know how to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the lace patterns are only provided in chart form. 

CONSTRUCTION

This top is knitted in one piece, starting from the shoulders, from which stitches will then be picked up to continue with the rest of the body. The body is knitted flat on both the front and back until below the armholes, where the front and back are joined to continue knitting in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round.

3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles with a 40 cm [16"] cable for the armholes and a longer cable for the body, or the size needed to obtain gauge (unblocked).

CARE AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
