PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

To knit this top, you need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl, place stitches on hold, pick up and rejoin stitches, make increases, make decreases, the lace technique, and bind off stitches. It is essential to be able to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the lace patterns are given only in chart form. 

CONSTRUCTION

This top is knitted in one piece starting from the shoulders, from which stitches are then picked up to continue with the rest of the body. The body is knitted flat for both the front and back until under the armholes, where the front and back are joined to continue knitting in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round.

Finished garment circumference: 130 cm [51.25”].

Sleeve circumference: 40 cm [15.75”].

GAUGE

24 stitches and 34 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4"] swatch in stockinette stitch, UNBLOCKED.

23 stitches and 33 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4"] swatch in stockinette stitch, AFTER BLOCKING.

YARN

NEEDLES

3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles with a 40 cm [16"] cable for the armholes and a longer one for the body, or the needles needed to obtain the gauge (unblocked).

CARE AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Our garments do not require frequent washing due to their natural composition; simply air the garment on a clothesline overnight, and any potential odors will dissipate.
