PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

To knit this top, you need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl, hold stitches, pick up and resume stitches, make increases, make decreases, the lace technique, and bind off stitches. It is essential to be able to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the lace patterns are given only in chart form. 

CONSTRUCTION

This top is knitted in one piece, starting at the shoulders, from which stitches will then be picked up to continue with the rest of the body. The body is knitted flat on both the front and back until below the armholes, where the front and back are joined to continue knitting in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round.

3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles with a 40 cm [16"] cable for the armholes and a longer cable for the body, or the size needed to obtain the correct gauge (unblocked).

CARE AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Our garments do not require frequent washing due to their natural composition; simply air the garment on a clothesline overnight, and any odors will dissipate.
