PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE
To knit this sweater, you need to know how to knit and purl, knit in the round, cast on using the long-tail method, knit German short rows, make lifted increases (typically used for armholes), pick up and resume stitches, and bind off using the Italian method.
CONSTRUCTION
This sweater has a top-down construction, meaning it is started by knitting the neckline, then continues with the yoke, after which the sleeves and body are separated, and the body continues to be knitted in the round. Next, the sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round to the cuff. It is made in one piece, without any seams. It is knitted in stockinette stitch in the round. The body and sleeves end with an elastic ribbing.

Finished garment chest circumference: 125-135 cm [49.25-53.25”] depending on blocking. This yarn has a high blocking capacity.
Garment height from neckline: 54 cm [21.25”].
Sleeve length from neckline: 72 cm [28.25”].
Upper sleeve circumference: 40 cm [15.75”].

17 stitches and 24 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] swatch in stockinette stitch, UNBLOCKED

NEEDLES
4 mm [US 6] circular needles for casting on and ribbing.
4.5 mm [US 7] circular needles with 40 cm [16”] cables for the neckline and 80 cm [32”] for the body, or the needles necessary to achieve the tension gauge.
