- ABOUT THE GARMENT
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
To knit this sweater, it is necessary to know how to knit knit and purl stitches, knit in the round, cast on stitches using the long-tail method, knit German short rows, make increases (those normally used for armholes), pick up and resume stitches, and bind off stitches using the Italian method.
CONSTRUCTION
This sweater has a top-down construction, meaning it starts by knitting the neckline, continues with the yoke, then the sleeves and body are separated, and the body continues to be knitted in the round. Next, the sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round up to the cuff. It is made in one piece, without any seams. It is knitted in stockinette stitch in the round. The body and sleeves end with an elastic ribbing finish.

Finished garment chest circumference: 125-135 cm [49.25-53.25”] depending on blocking. This yarn has a high blocking capacity.
Garment height from neckline: 54 cm [21.25”].
Sleeve length from neckline: 72 cm [28.25”].

NEEDLES
4 mm [US 6] circular needles for casting on and ribbing.
4.5 mm [US 7] circular needles with 40 cm [16”] cables for the neckline and 80 cm [32”] for the body, or those needed to achieve the tension gauge.
