PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
To knit this sweater, you need to know how to knit knit and purl stitches, knit in the round, cast on stitches using the tubular cast-on method (not essential, you can cast on with another method), make increases (those normally used for armholes), knit following a chart, pick up and re-mount stitches, bind off stitches using the Italian method (not essential, you can bind off with the method you prefer). It is essential to know how to read charts, as the instructions for knitting the motif of the different parts are given only in chart form.
CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is constructed top-down, meaning it begins by knitting the neckline, continues with the yoke, then the sleeves and body are separated, and the body is continued by knitting in the round. Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up and also knitted in the round. It is made in one piece, without any seams. It is knitted with a basic motif based on knit and purl stitches.

1 (2, 3, 4, 5). Choose your size by measuring your bust circumference or that of a sweater you like how it fits.

32 cm [12.5”].
Arm circumference:
35 (40, 43, 47.5, 51) cm [13.75 (15.75, 17, 18.75, 20)”].
GAUGE
25 stitches and 34 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4"] swatch in jersey stitch, unblocked. 
24 stitches and 32 rows for a 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] swatch in jersey stitch, blocked.
YARN

NEEDLES
3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles with 40 cm [16"] cables for the neckline and 80 cm [32"] for the body, or the needles necessary to obtain the specified gauge.
3.25 mm [US 3] circular needles for casting on and ribbing, if necessary.
