ABOUT THE VEST TOP
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE TO KNIT XULIÁN
To knit this vest, you need to know how to provisionally cast on, knit, bind off, make increases by picking up stitches (those usually used for armholes), pick up stitches, and knit flat.
CONSTRUCTION OF XULIÁN
This vest is constructed from top to bottom without any seams. It begins by knitting the neck with a provisional cast-on, continues with the back, holding stitches when a sufficient length for the armholes is reached. Then the provisional cast-on is resumed to knit the neck part of the button band, after which stitches are picked up on the shoulders, these stitches are then worked to knit the fronts, separately, but they can be done simultaneously, depending on the knitter. Once the necessary length up to the armholes is reached, the 2 front pieces and the back are joined, and the vest is continued to be knit until the bottom edge.

ABOUT THE COLLAR
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
To knit this collar, you need to know how to cast on, knit, increase and decrease stitches, and bind off. You also need to know how to knit German short rows.
CONSTRUCTION
This collar is knitted side to side, starting from one end with a strip of 7 stitches, increasing towards the lower center and then decreasing back to 7 stitches. The second strip is knitted and the 7 stitches are then bound off.
